The AI would be able to teach, but that is also a gradual process. Teaching != making people learn.
As for the quality of life and not having to work — I don’t think so. The investment in such automation might at some point exceed the cost of running human labour. For the “governing AI” obviously price is not an issue, but for businesses “should I invest in AI or let people do the job” would be a valid question for a long time, I think
